Respecting a consumer’s dignity of risk is a key concept in Standard 1 of the Aged Care Quality Standards.  But, how does your organisation meet this requirement as well as meet its many other legal obligations including its duty of care owed to the consumer, staff and others, which must be balanced against any requested by a consumer?
